Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) Company was incorporated on 13.01.2006 under the Companies Act, 1956 with its headquarters at 16th Floor, Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi.
The Company has four Presses, four Mints and one Paper Mill to meet the requirements of RBI for Currency Notes and Coins and State Governments for Non-Judicial Stamp Papers and Postal Departments for postal stationery, stamps etc. and Ministry of External Affairs for passports, visa stickers and other travel documents.
Security Printing Presses have glorious history of more than 80 years employing specialized technology and multiple printing processes to produce security products under secure operating procedures and manufacturing protocols. These presses have the latest technological facilities for Designing, Pre-printing and Post-Printing.
